What is Char Dham?
Char Dham is the traditional pilgrimage circuit of four supreme Hindu shrines situated at the four cardinal directions of India: Badrinath in the north, Dwarka in the west, Puri in the east, and Rameshwaram in the south.
Tradition associates the circuit with Adi Shankaracharya, whose vision bound diverse temples, regions, and devotional streams into one sacred journey across Bhārat.
